The award-winning restaurant has an inimitable relaxed feel with a glass exterior, high ceilings, elegant interior and outdoor terrace. Serving seasonal Australian seafood, it blends everyday dining with flexible event spaces for up to 300 guests.
When it comes to the food, Deckhouse has you covered for breakfast and lunch. For the early risers, you can come in for a nice morning coffee, tea, juice or smoothie and indulge in breakfast favourites such as the Eggs Benedict, Turkish Eggs, Smashed Avo or the delicious French Toast with caramelised brioche, roasted strawberries and maple marscarpone. Yum!
It only gets better from there as the lunch menu is jam-packed full of options such as the Tomato & Prawn Mafaldine Pasta, Grilled Barramundi, Chicken Souvlaki Wrap, Cheeseburger and more. But the Seafood Platter ($75pp for minimum two guests) has got to be our top pick and features a generous medley of seafood favourites – which is as indulgent and delicious as it sounds!
The experience kicks off with light and tasty Rock Oysters, top-notch Moreton Bay Bug Cocktail and the outstanding Snapper Ceviche with orange and grilled capsicum puree, aleppo pepper and lemon – simply mouth-watering! The platter also features some delectable Grilled Scallops, finger-licking good Southern Calamari – which adds a lovely crunch – and the Fried Market Fish with chips and salad which ensures you don’t leave the venue on an empty stomach.
To wash it all down, the beverage menu is filled with cocktail favourites such as the Coconut Mojito, Passionfruit Daquiri and Lychee Spritz, a fine selection of red and white wines, beers and ciders, as well as juices, smoothies and coffees to end your experience on a high.
With the festive season upon us, Deckhouse is inviting guests to celebrate Christmas by the harbour with a premium long lunch. It promises to be a festive, relaxed, family-friendly day with a curated menu, premium drinks and plenty of Christmas magic for kids. The three course menu features a premium beverage package including cocktails and canapés on arrival, champagne, wine, beer, soft drinks, coffee and tea (Adults $330).
