In the soul of Newtown, there’s a magnificent building dubbed ‘The Sando’… an old hotel that has been home to DJs, pool comps, memorable moments and unforgettable nights out with mates. Right now, a metamorphosis is underway… colour, crazy and chaos is about to flutter, and in such good fashion!
Introducing Holey Moley. It’s like golf, but fun….
From the people behind Strike Bowling comes Holey Moley Golf Club, home at 387 King Street, Newtown, it’s mind-blowing leisure-tainment – a cocktail bar, mini-golf course, work of art, retro and social commentary and all-out cool hub rolled into one brilliant venue. Local DJs will spin tracks on the green, while putters swing on the most perfect 9 or 18 ever seen.
Ready for a whole new hole game?
There’s two different nine-hole courses to choose from, with 18 uniquely themed holes – here’s just a hint at what to expect – think a mash up of Willy Wonka, Simpsons, Pacman (arguably the best retro video game ever), Mouse Trap, Elvis Presley, a rave club, Game of Thrones and Sydney’s iconic Luna Park. Just for starters…
There’s a mouth-watering food menu with everything from Spicy Korean Glazed Wings to Pork Belly Bao to sort grub-on-the-green needs and lots of cocktails. Home of Holey Moley’s luscious list of libations, The Caddyshack is raising the par on drinks – there’s the sparkling Grapefruit Mimosa, tangy Kaffir Lime Margarita, Rhubarb & Pineapple Sour, and Blueberry Yuzu Cooler to name a few. Of special note is the Champion’s Trophy served up for sharing cocktails, because a mate that shares a round is always a champion.
Holey Moley Sydney will officially open its doors on Thursday 6th July 2017, with plans to open in Adelaide early August 2017.
