Is Beyonce Pregnant?
It’s been dubbed by some as the worst kept secret in showbiz, but it seems the cat is out of the bag now. The cat in question? Well the reports that Beyoncé and Jay-Z are expecting their second child. According to E! Online, multiple sources have confirmed that the power couple are expecting again. However, a spokesperson for Beyoncé could not be reached nor did Jay-Z’s representative give a comment on the matter. Speculation has been mounting for days, but the real trigger came earlier in the week when Queen B cancelled her concert in Antwerp, Belgium, citing dehydration and exhaustion as the reason and thus the rumour mill went into overdrive. We heard not long ago that the singer was banning unauthorised photos while only releasing one official snap from each concert. That could be down to the fact that she was only trying to keep her pregnancy a secret, or perhaps she was just being a proper diva?
Beyoncé did an interview with Oprah Winfrey back in February where she said that she definitely wanted more children telling Oprah, “I think my daughter needs some company,” but claimed that she was planning to add to her family after her current tour. Beyoncé famously announced her first pregnancy at the MTV Video Music Awards in 2011, revealing her growing baby bump following her energetic performance. No doubt, the official announcement for this pregnancy, should the rumours in fact be true, will equal the heights of hysteria she caused back in 2011.
