When The Dust Settled: North Sullivan’s Untold Photographic Record The Week After 9/11

When The Dust Settled is a never-before-seen collection of 186 black and white photographs by Sydney photographer North Sullivan, documenting the week following the September 11 attacks. In honour of the 25th anniversary of that day. Rather than focusing on Ground Zero, the exhibition captures the people and communities of New York in the aftermath, from the hundreds of missing-person posters covering the city to moments of grief, solidarity, hope and resilience. The series offers an intimate perspective on how an extraordinary city processed tragedy and began its journey towards recovery.

Next month, Willoughby’s The Bridgeview Hotel is launching Bridgey & Barrel, a new monthly wine dinner series pairing iconic Australian labels with seasonal three course menus.
