Miss Fisher’s Murder Mysteries Costume Exhibition
The amazing new Miss Fisher’s Murder Mysteries Costume Exhibition is on now for a very limited time until June 19th at the National Trust’s Old Government House in Parramatta Park, Sydney.
This is an immensely enhanced and expanded exhibition following on from the highly successful previous show and well worth a visit… it features astounding costumes from Series 3 of the hit ABC TV series. Quite literally it is like stepping back in time to the 1920s.
Whether you love fashion, beautiful clothes, glamour, adventure or just want a great day out … this is an exhibition for you. The extensive new exhibition is a chance to see many amazing and sumptuous costumes featured in the TV show that follows the adventures of glamorous independent detective Miss Phryne Fisher.
You’ll be able to visit the Murder Room, Phyrne’s Parlour, the Tennis Hall, The Design Room and many, many other areas. There is a range of remarkable interactive elements at the exhibition including dressing up, designing a costume and many more elements that directly involve visitors.
The costumes have been generously made available by costume designer Marion Boyce and Every Cloud Productions. Marion Boyce won Best Costume Design at the prestigious AACTA Awards for her remarkable work on the movie “The Dressmaker” starring Kate Winslet. This is bound to be a grand day out because Old Government House is Australia’s oldest surviving public building – dating back to 1799 and, of course, it is World Heritage Listed.
