We tested this nifty device for about a week and have not stopped being impressed with it since opening the box. The first time you put it in your hands, it feels like you’re holding a premium product. With a truly luxurious feel and a firm grip, the toothbrush provides for a comfortable brushing experience and won’t slip out of your hands easily (very important)!

When you power it on, you get to see its glorious full-colour touchscreen display which allows you to switch between five cleaning modes. Quite handy as you might opt for different modes on different days. For example, you might choose the ‘Whitening Polishing’ mode if you’ve got a big date or meeting and want to impress with your pearly whites.

Once you choose your mode and begin brushing, you start getting instant feedback about your brushing technique on the toothbrush’s smart touchscreen – and also with the AI voice in real-time – which is just incredible. If you’ve been brushing the wrong way your whole life, this will fix you up in no time and guide you in the right direction. The data gets even more detailed in the Oclean Care+ app which you can download from the App store.

There are plenty of settings to play with on the device – and even more on the app – so you can find whatever works best for you. We found the brushing experience to be quite comfortable and not as noisy as we’ve experienced with other electric toothbrushes. And the battery will easily last you more than a month which is a bonus.

Overall, we were highly impressed with the Oclean X Ultra S Smart Sonic Electric Toothbrush. It looks quite deluxe, sits well in the hand, gives a thorough clean and will even teach you a thing or two about your brushing technique. Highly recommended!
