Onedot3 launches initiative to help struggling Australians
Ethical local clothing line, onedot3, has announced it will be helping Australians across the nation by donating grocery food vouchers to those in need. As the world continues to face the pandemic, the new initiative – #SHOPWITHYOU – will continue to put food on the table for those struggling and alleviate some of the pressures many are facing during these hard times.
Founded in July 2019 by Francis Siasat, onedot3 is a Sydney-based clothing line that uses profits to support water projects around the world. Aimed to help bring clean water to people in need, the impact-driven social enterprise uses 50% of its profits from all sales to support organisation charity:water. Over the last year, onedot3 has managed to help build water infrastructures for communities in Madagascar. Now shifting gears as the world enters into a world of uncertainty, Francis launched #SHOPWITHYOU to help those closer to home.
“Influencing people to make sustainable and generous choices every day is one of the reasons why onedot3 was created. These two qualities are built into onedot3’s DNA. As we face a period of ambiguity, I want to help those who are closer to me and use my brand to make their lives of millions a little less stressful.”
#SHOPWITHYOU has been running since April 15 where anyone in need can simply go to the website and request a voucher of a value of $50, valid for either Coles or Woolworths. Requests will be dealt with within 24 hours and digital vouchers will be sent to the recipients within a day.
