The Rook launches Oopsie Daisy
The Rook is one of Sydney’s finest hidden gems (so hidden, you could literally walk past and miss it).
Located high above the hustle and bustle of Sydney’s York Street, the CBD rooftop hideaway has just launched a brand-new activation – Oopsie Daisy – a year-long celebration of fun, feasting and flowers.
Serving up serious ‘cute date’ vibes, the rooftop bar features a new floral display of white and yellow daisies cascading down from the atrium-stye ceiling, as well as boasting a super sweet daisy-themed archway entrance.
Oopsie Daisy has a number of exciting new experiences for guests to enjoy this year including Delectable Daisy Dining – a shared feast to indulge in with friends and family. The $59 per person menu kicks off with Marinated Olives and Fried Bread to start before their signature serves come out including a selection of delicious Tacos with seasonal fillings and the Beef Ragu Pappardelle which is just packed with hearty ingredients making it the ultimate winter-warmer.
The experience also includes a very tasty and super healthy Beetroot Salad and ends with something a tad more naughty for dessert – Donut Fries. That’s right, chips made of donut and dipped into ice cream for a delectable hot-cold sensation. The affordable banquet menu is available every day of the week for groups of 2-20. We also highly recommend the beverage pairing package add on for a very reasonable $30 per person which includes a house beer or wine, choice of cocktail and a delicious espresso martini to finish things off on a high.
If you like your Saturday brunches, then The Rook’s revamped Bottomless Drag Brunch is definitely for you. Running every Saturday from 2-4pm and hosted by Sydney drag royalty Bettie Blackheart and her dazzling queens, you can indulge in a 6-course share-style menu featuring a selection of new, seasonal bites, including yellow tail kingfish ceviche tartlets, Asian BBQ pork riblets, cauliflower tacos and a curated cheese selection with fig, complemented by 2-hours of bottomless mimosas. Craft your perfect cocktail thanks to the addition of a brand-new DIY mimosa bar allowing you to get creative with juices, purees, and fresh fruits ($79 per person).
If you have an upcoming bridal party, then look no further than The Rook’s Hen’s Brunch upgrade. You can elevate your celebration for an additional $20 per person and enjoy the same fabulous Bottomless Drag Brunch experience with added personal touches including personalised table menus, sashes for the bride-to-be and her tribe, and a WAP shot on arrival for all guests.
For some weeknight fun, you can head to The Rook every Tuesday night for Bettie’s Bingo Jam. Hosted by the queen bee herself, Bettie Blackheart, the night features musical bingo where you can compete for fabulous prizes in multiple rounds of bingo fun, with no cost to play – just pure entertainment! Bingo starts from 7pm, with multiple rounds played throughout the night. Walk-ins welcome but bookings encouraged.
Oopsie Daily at The Rook will run until July 2025.
