This high-end dining destination of contemporary Australian fare offers a relaxed and informal ambience with incredible food and great cocktails. Featuring a hearty dose of fresh seafood, the elegant menu has been crafted to evoke a sense of indulgence. Flavoursome, punchy and perfect for sharing, the food offering features a selection of snacks and raw dishes to start with including Bloody Mary Tempura Oysters, Chicken Liver Parfait, Smoked Fish Finger Milk Bun Slider, and Snapper Carpaccio.
Share plate options include Beetroot & Buffalo Curd Salad, Kingfish, 600g Dry Aged Ribeye, and Green Beans, Baby Corn & White Sesame Crunch. With such a wide variety of choices, we’d have to recommend trying the Banquet Menu (which we did on our recent visit). At $70 per person, you can really get a taste of a selection of dishes while saving a few dollars in the process. The banquet is made up of:

Salt & Pepper Cauliflower, White Soy & Tamarind – An absolute must-try. Incredibly moreish.
Cured Wagyu Tartare, Jerusalem Artichoke, Grape, Toasted Barley & Rosemary – Delicious!
Octopus, Pomegranate, Potato, Fennel & Black Olive – One of our favourites. A real tasty treat.
Chinese Pearl Barley Risotto, Carrot & Sunflower Puree & Roasted Baby Cos – Warmingly filling.
Lamb Rump, Soy Braised Mushrooms, Cauliflower & Tarragon – Yet another tasty treat.
House Salad, Cucumber, Radish, Mint, Pecorino & Pine Nuts – The perfect light refreshing salad.
Strawberries & Cream, Toffee Apple & White Choc Meringue – Divine! Exquisite way to end the feast.
If you’re a fan of your cocktails, the drinks here are designed to maximise the dining and socialising experience with a distinct nod to the tropical surrounds. With options such as the the Voodoo Punch (a bold mix featuring three types of rum with hints of apricot cherry, lime and grapefruit) or The Upper East Side Colada (a beachside escape in a drink with Havana Especial rum, coconut puree, lime, pineapple and Blu Curacao), you simply can’t go wrong.
Upper East Side Bondi also offer a brunch selection and mood-enhancing DJ tunes on weekends as well as live music during the week. The atmosphere is only amplified by the exquisite interiors including full-sized palm trees, tropical plants cascading down the walls, white exposed brick, driftwood and bamboo furniture, white mosaic tiles and a starry ceiling with fairy lights.

STOP PRESS: Thursday Night Live is the latest addition to Upper East Side Bondi exclusively bringing you good vibes, fresh food, crisp cocktails and live music made for the coolest of the cool in clientele. Artists will be “jamming” on the steps, deliberately facing the sidewalk, designed to spark curiosity and invite you in, before the food, beverages and high-energy feel that Upper East Side is known for, will encourage you to stay on into the night – and return the very next week.
