With over 48 flavours of ice cream and gelato, chocolates, jellies, macarons, cakes, desserts, crêpes, hot and cold drinks as well as the best Italian coffee in the CBD, the only downfall is trying to make a decision on what to have!
We certainly struggled with our decision on our recent visit but being a cold winter’s day, we thought it appropriate to start off with a nice warm beverage. There are plenty of coffees and teas to choose from but we couldn’t go past the Nutellino. With nutella, macchiato, bacio, perugina, chocolate, and crushed hazelnuts, this one was to die for. Heaven in a cup!
They also offer a selection of breakfast items including sourdough, muffins and Danishes, perfect for enjoying with your coffee before work, as well as fresh panini rolls for lunch. But it’s the seriously tempting treats that will get you in. And it was the selection of crêpes that won us over. Served with a side of whipped cream and gelato, we sampled the strawberry (fresh strawberries, strawberry sauce, strawberry sorbet). It was vibrant, refreshing, and delectable. An absolute stand-out!
Other crêpe options include the lemon & sugar, nutella, salted caramel & ricotta, mango, and banana snickers. We sampled the latter and found it be another extreme blast of deliciousness in our mouths. With fresh banana, peanut butter, nutella, salted caramel, crushed peanuts, and snickers gelato, it was nut overload!
Everything from the gelato to chocolates are handmade by the Via Del Corso team, ensuring you will always get authentic, freshly prepared treats that you will not find elsewhere.
