Ian Trent has been a sports journalist for many years, reporting across radio, television, and print media. In 1983, he coached an undefeated Australian women’s water polo team to a gold medal in the World Cup in Los Angeles, and another gold at the 1986 World Swimming Championships in Madrid. He is currently the first-grade and national league head coach for women’s water polo at Sydney University.
