Jack Daniel’s brings a Southern Hoedown to Sydney Harbour for one night only

The sounds and style of the American South are taking hold across Australia, with cowboy boots, line dancing and country music becoming staples of nights out nationwide.

Celebrating the arrival of its Southern Flavours range, Jack Daniel’s is transforming the iconic Sydney Showboats paddlewheeler into Jack’s Southern Harbour Hoedown, a one-night-only boat party bringing together live country music, line-dancing, Southern-inspired flavours and harbour views.

On Thursday 12 November 2026, guests will step aboard the paddlewheeler for a three hour cruise, with the classic Southern style vessel transformed into a honky tonk, complete with live country music.

As line dancing continues to find a new generation of fans, Sydney Saddle Club will be aboard, leading two beginner friendly sessions, giving guests the chance to join in – no experience required. Those who’d rather sit back can enjoy the music, food and sunset views across Sydney Harbour.

The event celebrates the national launch of Jack Daniel’s Southern Lemonade & Southern Peach. The two 4.8% ABV premix varieties put a fruity twist on classic Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Whiskey: Southern Lemonade brings a crisp, zesty lemon flavour, while Southern Peach offers a smooth, fruit-forward serve with subtle whiskey notes.
