Blue Is The Warmest Colour was the sensation at this year’s Cannes Film Festival where it was awarded the coveted top award, the Palme d’Or. Steven Spielberg, the Cannes Jury President, called the film “magnificent”, and the accolades continue as just last week it was announced that the film was nominated for a Golden Globe, for Best Foreign Language Film.
