Situated just a few minutes’ walk from Sydney’s largest Christmas tree, Sheraton Grand is pulling out all the stops with a string of festivities to extend a warm welcome to Sydney locals and visitors who want to indulge in one of many merry dining experiences.
Upon arrival, the hotel lobby offers a memorable setting for your family, friends or colleagues to soak up the atmosphere as it transforms itself into a Christmas wonderland. Featuring a large Christmas tree adorned in twinkling lights, surrounded by traditional bunting and elaborate gold reindeers, complemented by the sounds of carols playing.
But, the fun doesn’t stop there. From pop-ups to extravagant feasts and classic holiday films, the Sheraton Grand is going the extra mile to ensure that this Christmas is one to be remembered.
Grand Christmas High Tea
The only thing better than a signature Sheraton Grand High Tea is a Grand Christmas High Tea. It’s the same lavish high tea that is known and loved by Sydney-siders and travellers alike, with an exquisitely festive twist. We can’t think of a better way to celebrate the festive season than experiencing this with a loved one. You can indulge in everything from the delicious gin cured salmon crostini (our favourite savoury option) and festive scones to sweet treats such as the delectable chocolate yuzu mousse dome. Presented in a buffet style, you can sample whatever your heart desires. Head to The Gallery to enjoy a combination of sweet and savoury delights paired with exceptional Vittoria espresso coffee, fragrant L&M teas and the option to indulge in free flowing sparkling wine – it is the silly season after all!
Koko Black Pop-Up
For the month of December, Sheraton Grand has partnered with Koko Black to showcase a pop-up of their luxe range of world-class chocolatiers’ festive favourites in the grand lobby. A selection of Koko Black velvety hot chocolate, delicious iced chocolate and a petite chocolate box will tantalise those who opt for the Grand Christmas High Tea in The Gallery.
Secret Cinema
Who doesn’t love the excitement of counting down the 12 days of Christmas? This year, rather than an advent calendar, Sheraton Grand is creating a secret cinema space to showcase well-known favourite holiday movies to get you into the festive spirit.
Located in The Gallery, the 12 Days of Christmas Secret Cinema will screen all the classic Christmas movies, including Elf, Home Alone, Love Actually and more – open from 13 December to 24 December, 2.30 pm to 5 pm.
Christmas Feasting
To top off the festive experience, a schedule of dining offers will be available throughout the entire holiday period (adult or children’s prices) and multiple seating times at Sydney’s best buffet, Feast, on all the key dates including Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year’s Eve. Expect a festive spin on the already legendary buffet; seafood galore (Balmain bugs, A grade Sydney rock oysters and QLD tiger prawns), traditional roast carvery of turkey and ham alongside curries, pasta and roasted and steamed vegetables, a charcuterie and cheese station and crisp salad bar.
Thought it couldn’t get any better? Think again. Get ready for the sweetest dessert spread you have ever seen featuring warm Christmas pudding, Pavlova with macerated cherries and Bûche de Noël – just to name the traditional headline acts.
