The “Ali G Show” is a satirical television series that originally aired in the UK from 2000 to 2004. The show was created by and starred comedian Sacha Baron Cohen, who portrayed a character named Ali G, a satirical streetwise television journalist from Staines, a suburb of London.
The show is known for its controversial and provocative style, often using humour to comment on society, politics, and culture. It consists of mockumentary-style interviews and segments, where Ali G interacts with real people who are unaware that he is a fictional character.
During these interviews, Ali G often asks absurd and ignorant questions, intentionally provoking and confusing his interviewees.
