Celebrated TV chef Miguel Maestre has teamed up with Finish to offer Sydneysiders the unthinkable – a free meal.
C.I.Y. (Clean It Yourself) – The Free Meal* at 7 Hudson Street, Redfern opens to the public for dinner on Friday 6th March and for lunch & dinner on Saturday 7th March.
However, proving there really is ‘no such thing as a free lunch’, as payment for their sumptuous Mediterranean feast, diners will be required to put Finish to the test – by cleaning their own dishes!
The bespoke menu – which consists of dishes including Flamenca eggs, Tigres & Miguel’s world-famous Paella a la Maestre – was created by the Living Room chef himself.
On completion of their dining experience, well-fed guests will be putting Finish Quantum dishwashing tablets & New Finish Hand dishwashing gel through their paces by washing-up their own grubby plates.
Commenting on the forthcoming venture, Miguel Maestre said: “In a busy kitchen, I only use Finish because it gets rid of tough stains first time. Diners will get to test this for themselves – but not before enjoying some superb Spanish recipes.”
“This is a genuinely unique concept: a no expense-spared menu, where diners won’t spend a cent,” said Jonathan Weiss, spokesperson for Finish.
“This is the ultimate test for our brand. With Miguel’s tastiest dishes being some of his messiest, people will be able to see the incredible results you can expect from Finish for themselves.”
* Because there’s no such thing as a free meal
