Employees Only has just launched an exciting new cocktail menu and outdoor space, enhancing its reputation for innovative mixology and a unique ambiance. Its new alfresco area features a portable bar and a select tabletop menu of signature cocktails, wines, and beers, where guests can enjoy the stunning Sydney cityscape while savouring expertly crafted drinks.

Award-winning bartender Christine Lam and celebrated mixologist Andrea Dinardo have crafted a selection of cocktails that embody the spirit of New York’s original speakeasy, offering patrons a unique and elevated drinking experience. The new cocktail menu showcases a harmonious blend of bold flavours and refined sophistication.

Highlights on the menu include the Emergency Loop, a tantalising mix of chili tequila and white rum, complemented by coriander, jalapeño syrup, and a splash of Green Chartreuse for an invigorating twist. Another standout, the Yozakura, combines shiso and sumac gin with cherry blossom cordial, Zucca Rabarbaro, and tonic water, delivering a refreshing, layered taste.

For a sweet indulgence, the Midnight Snack blends peanut butter whiskey, banana liqueur, strawberry jam, and celery bitters, served straight up for a nostalgic treat. But our top pick has to be the Maelstrom, featuring Kraken Spiced Rum stirred with brown cacao and mint liqueur, and topped with Frangelico coconut cream – an irresistible cocktail you just won’t be able to get enough of.

To complement these exquisite cocktails, the menu features gourmet offerings such as the Pulled Chicken Taco, a flavourful combination of chiffonade lettuce, tomato salsa, and chipotle sauce, and the Braised Lamb Shoulder Taco, a succulent lamb with corn salsa, iceberg lettuce, sour cream, and micro coriander.

The EO Signature Steak Tartare, prepared tableside, comes with crostini and a fresh salad, while the Sydney Rock Oysters, garnished with hibiscus, habanero chili, shallots, and champagne vinegar, provide a vibrant taste of the sea.

For something truly delectable, you cannot go past their outstanding skewers. The Marinated Charred Chicken Skewer comes with hommus and is just packed with flavour while the Teriyaki Salmon Skewer with sesame seeds and spring onion provides a savoury but sweet flavour that may just have you licking your fingers clean when you’re done.

The new cocktail menu and the alfresco space bring together the best of Employees Only’s creativity and Sydney’s vibrant nightlife. To mark the launch, they are offering up to 50% off food and drinks during EO’S GOLDEN HOUR (5pm-6pm). The offer is ongoing and available every Tuesday to Saturday.
