Kings Cross is back! With Sydney having had enough of lockdowns in recent years, a new nightclub has just opened at the location of the old Candy’s Apartment.
Maali – launched by the team behind Sinaloa and Eros – hopes to reignite the spirit of nightlife at the once former party capital of Australia.
Be transported to an Arabian Night-like fantasy as you descend into the depths of this Moroccan inspired venue. Expect to get lost in the alluring array of unique influence and luxurious ambience as you dance the night away.
As you enter, Maali awakens your senses with its sultry Moroccan décor and candlelit corners. With a range of charming spaces for guests to enjoy, it will be easy to lose track of time here. Walk down the steps into Maali’s abode and be welcomed with moody lighting, rich colours and walls draped in soft fabrics.
Reminiscent of Morocco’s extravagant architecture, the venue is decorated in curved walls, sunken booths, inspiring upholstery, clay pottery and exotic plants. A stunning water fountain feature at the entrance sets the tone of what’s to be expected from your night spent at Maali.
The venue features two large bars with experienced bartenders to cater and serve a variety of delicious drinks and cocktails that are guaranteed to satisfy even the most fastidious critic. Moreover, the spacious dance floor and complimentary state of the art light and sound system will entice people to forget their troubles and dance the night away. Otherwise, for those who require a more intimate occasion, there is also a dedicated VIP room and multiple booths available to book for bottle service every weekend.
Maali comes alive on the weekend with two weekly events for patrons to enjoy depending on what their hearts desire. On Fridays, special guest DJs, including some of Sydney’s favourite local and touring artists from across the globe, light up the night while on Saturdays, Maali’s impressive roster of resident DJs play house, disco, techno and everything in-between to keep guests glued to the dancefloor. Dazzling Belly Dancers, Snake Charmers and Tarot Card Readers are just some of the exciting surprises Maali has to keep their guests entertained in their exotic world.
Both Fridays and Saturdays kick off from 8pm into the early morning. There’s also a Marakeesh happy hour from 8pm-10pm with luxurious cocktails on offer such as $12 Patròn Watermelon Margaritas and $12 Bombay Sapphire Gin Cocktails.
Maali nightclub is Sydney’s newest hidden diamond…only experienced by those who dare to seek!
