Winner of MasterChef Australia series 5, Emma Dean has been working around the clock and has just released her debut cookbook, just in time for Christmas. Emma brings local produce to the table with her cookbook, A Homegrown Table, food to eat with family and friends.

Growing up on hobby farm, Emma’s love of everything fresh and seasonal began at an early age. Both Emma’s parents taught her and her sister to cook seasonally, how to knead bread and how to grow food. Emma combines the familiar with the unusual, showcasing different cuts of meat, heirloom vegetables and wild greens.
“I have a passion for all things planting, growing and harvesting. For as long as I can remember I have been rummaging around in the garden beds, learning to appreciate nature’s bounty and understanding the seasons”, say’s Emma.
