House of Arras: Sparkling & Symphony Event
To celebrate the release of their highly anticipated premium vintage collection, Australia’s most awarded sparkling wine brand – House of Arras – hosted an intimate invite-only dinner at the iconic Sydney Opera House on 1st November, 2019.
House of Arras Chief Winemaker Ed Carr (known as the ‘King of Fizz’) and leading sparkling and Champagne writer Tyson Stelzer hosted the exclusive event which guided guests through a wine tasting and featured a stunning bespoke performance by musicians of the Sydney Symphony Orchestra.
A-list guests and business heavyweights included: society doyenne Glen-Marie Frost, Heiresses Charlotte Holmes à Court, interior designer gurus Darren Palmer and James Treble, global business leader Naomi Simson, Sydney Swans legend Jude Bolton and his wife Lynette Bolton. Guests were treated to a delicious 3 course dinner featuring slow cooked pork neck, seared scallop, white bean skordalia and green apple washed down with House of Arras premium sparkling.
To end a truly magical evening, guests were gifted a bottle of House of Arras award-winning Brut Elite Cuvée 1501 NV. This captivating wine features a light to medium straw colour with brilliant clarity and an ultra-fine, persistent bead. With exotic characters on the nose including lychee, white stonefruit, lanolin and oyster shell. A vibrant, red fruit driven palate with generous flavours and texture.
