Crescent Bay is not the ideal place to spend one’s golden years, especially since the once-idyllic retirement community has been beset by a series of deadly animal attacks from the ominous forest surrounding it.
When recently widowed war veteran Ambrose McKinley (Nick Damici) is moved in by his condescending son Will (Ethan Embry), the blue-hair set immediately take offense to Ambrose’s abrasive personality. But that take-no-prisoners attitude may be just what Ambrose needs to survive. Don’t go quietly into that good night.
With only his loyal seeing-eye dog for company, Ambrose enters a society of alienated and alienating old folk in an aged care facility so bland as to make many of the residents seem like the walking dead. But it’s not zombies that terrorise this community.
