Li’l Darlin opens in Crows Nest
Li’l Darlin is one of the most popular bar and restaurant brands in Surry Hills. Known for its fun and inclusive atmosphere, creative cocktails, and shareable food menu, it has become a favourite spot for celebrations and casual get-togethers alike.
With the brand-spanking new metro line making North Sydney more accessible than ever, Li’l Darlin has jumped on the chance to cater for this new burgeoning market by opening its second venue in Crows Nest.
The new venue brings twelve years of reputation and all the elements diners love about their Surry Hills location to a larger venue. Featuring a more sophisticated look and feel, it still has the same fun and energetic atmosphere with playfully fun cocktails, sharing menus and affordable dining options that will no doubt keep customers coming back.
All of their regular promotions are also available at the new venue, such as the popular $12.50 Happy Hour which offers incredible value. They’ve introduced an exciting array of new promotions too, including Taco Tuesdays ($12 Margaritas & $6 Tacos), Wine Down Wednesdays ($7 Wines & Beers & $12.5 Tapas), along with Clocked Off Thursdays ($12.5 Negronis, Espresso Martinis, Aperol Spritzes and Old Fashioned).
The food menu has been designed for sharing with delicious starter options including a Burrata & Prosciutto Plate, Nachos, Prawn Tacos, Arancini Balls, Salt & Pepper Calamari, Peking Duck Pancakes and the spectacular Sizzling Chilli Prawns which are our top pick. The sizzling and unbelievably delicious prawns are marinated in garlic, chilli, ginger, lime and chilli mayo and are served with flatbread for the ultimate starter.
Also available are a handful of salads, loaded fries and an assortment of mouth-watering pizzas. There’s classics such as the Margherita and Chorizo & Buffalo Mozzarella to more premium options such as the BBQ Chicken & Pancetta, Grilled Mushroom & Goats Cheese and Crispy Peking Duck. But we simply cannot go past the Chilli Prawn pizza which is packed full of flavour with marinated prawn, capsicum, tomato, salsa verde, chilli oil, basil and mozzarella on a tomato base. It’s an absolutely delightful fusion of flavours that tantalise the palate.
To accompany your meal, you’ve got to sample at least one of their top-notch cocktails. While they’re renowned for their original and iconic Fairy Floss Martini (a must-try), Li’l Darlin has recently introduced a selection of new handcrafted cocktails that have proven popular, including the ‘Gin There Done That’ ($22), ‘Better the Devil You Know’ ($22) and ‘It Takes 2 to Mango’ ($22). Every cocktail is made from scratch with fresh, high-quality ingredients, ensuring you finish your night on a high.
