Sydney Film Festival x ABODE Exclusive Menu
The hotel’s award-winning restaurant – ABODE Bistro. Bar – has also launched a limited-time menu during the festival. ABODE serves sophisticated bistro fare, cocktails and high tea in an elegant light-filled venue with cream decor.
The SFF X ABODE menu ($60pp) features pre-show dining bites with a chef’s antipasto platter to share. The experience kicks off with a selection of marinated vegetables, cured meats and dips with sourdough before you get a choice of four mouth-watering mains.
Mains options include a 200g Aged Sirloin (roasted field mushrooms, rainbow chard, potatoes and onion), the ridiculously delicious Prawn Lumache (summer squash, zucchini, green citrus sauce, chilli and toasted bread crumbs), Twice Cooked Pumpkin (sous vide then chard, coconut & almond cured, black garlic, heirloom tomatoes, puffed rice and sun chokes), and the outstanding Humpty Doo Barramundi (burnt potato and leek purée, karkalla salsa, dill oil, buttered baby turnips and potato fondant).
To wash it all down, you even get a complimentary themed cocktail or house beverage to end your experience on a high. It’s a truly great value package to indulge in before catching some films during the festival.
