West Hotel Sydney Lights Up Vivid 2023
West Hotel Sydney, Curio Collection by Hilton is embracing Vivid 2023 with a series of colourful and immersive activations. From May 26 to June 17, the hotel will be illuminated with vibrant lighting installations, a series of themed cocktails and a bespoke Vivid menu.
Located a short walk from the Vivid light walk, West Hotel is a perfect base for those coming into the city during the festival.
West Hotel’s lush garden atrium and bar, Solander Dining and Bar, will come to life with a series of kaleidoscopic florals, neon signs and lights that will provide the perfect backdrop for those looking to escape the hustle and bustle, whilst still embracing the fun.
To celebrate, Solander Dining and Bar will serve up a series of multi-coloured, Vivid-themed cocktails. These include the Enchanted Forest, a delightful blend of Pernod Absinthe and apple liqueur. For those wanting something a little bolder, the Chromatic Cosmos has been created from Absolute vodka, Cointreau, lime, cranberry juice and Curacao. The third flavourful cocktail is the Midori Mountain, a vibrant green cocktail created from Midori liqueur, Malibu rum, pineapple juice and coconut cream.
The hotel’s Head Chef, Joel Robinson, has curated a selection of mouth-watering bar bites. Highlights include whipped cauliflower seared scallops served in a burnt butter, truffle shoestring fries, jalapeño poppers filled with a coriander cream cheese, salumi miso, fried Seoul wings with chili caramel and caramelised mini chorizo.
Alongside the Solander Vivid menu, a special accommodation package will be available to guests from now until June 17.

West Hotel Sydney has partnered with Glow Baby Glow to bring Vivid to life. Glow Baby Glow specialises in LED neon signs that spark conversation.
The hotel is positioned close to the iconic Darling Harbour, lively King Street Wharf, and cultural and retail hub Barangaroo, and features 182 stylish guest rooms, including four spacious suites. Each room is equipped with Bluetooth-enabled audio-visual technology, Google Chromecast, and an open work area, with suites offering a separate sleek living area. The hotel also features a fully equipped gym and a private meeting/dining room.
Designed by Australian Architecture firm Fitzpatrick and Partners, with interiors by Woods Bagot, the hotel has a modern classic design theme, featuring deep tones with marble and brass accents.
