Pop up food festival, Project Yum, has officially launched at Broadway Sydney. Celebrating a ‘taste of the new’, the festival combines the hottest new food trends with live entertainment and is set to run daily until June 2016.
A delectable range of food pop-ups including; Asian fusion eatery, POKLOL, organic street-food brand, Agape Canteen, and artisan bakery, Brasserie Bread, will offer customers plentiful options for breakfast, lunch and dinner whilst final stages of the centre’s Level 2 re-development are completed. As well as the exciting food line-up, a live set by DJ Xcentric will keep the crowds entertained every Friday from 12pm and new ‘Chill Out’ areas will provide shoppers a place to recoup and catch up online using Broadway’s new, free Wi-Fi service.
Owner of POKLOL, Sean Cheong commented; “We are thrilled to be a part of Project Yum. The festival showcases a real assortment of innovative street-food style pop ups in one space. The concept is much more adventurous than just the food, the public can really immerse themselves in the whole experience from the variety of dishes, to the space and entertainment. Just some of our offerings include our ‘Ga-Mazzing’ – Lemon Grass Honey Chicken served with Pâté and ‘Bossy’ – Steamed Pork Belly with Fermented Bean Chill Mayo.”

The Level 2 redevelopment is less than five months away, to be launched in Spring 2016.
