Armorica’s $25 Lunch Special: The Best Value Bite In Surry Hills?
One of Surry Hills’ finest – Armorica – is giving Sydneysiders more bang for their buck with its $25 lunch special.
The sister venue to Franca Brasserie, Armorica pays homage to the city of Paris and the cuisine of its surrounding regions. It offers a truly unique dining experience, seamlessly blending French culinary traditions with a vibrant atmosphere, perfect for any occasion.
Founded on the concept of family dining, Armorica celebrates the joy of sharing good food with friends and loved ones in a vibrant, Parisian-inspired setting. It’s a place where lingering over generous plates is not only encouraged, it’s the heart of the experience.
Lunchtime specials have become one of the smartest ways to enjoy the city’s best dishes without spending a fortune. Whether it’s breaking up the workday grind or catching up with friends over the weekend, Armorica’s $25 lunch special is a great value deal that’s not to be missed.
Running from Wednesday to Sunday from 12pm, Armorica’s lunch special offers the perfect excuse to step away from the desk. Created for those short on time but never on standards, the menu features French classics at exceptional value.

Diners can enjoy a fresh Niçoise Salad, Beef Bourguignon Pot Pie, Sausage Pasta, Steak sandwiches, and the crowd favourite Armorica Burger made with Wagyu beef, house special sauce and aged cheddar – ridiculously delicious! The menu has something for every kind of lunch mood, all served within the restaurant’s moody brasserie.
If that’s not enough for you, the rest of the menu is chock full of tempting offerings. Irresistible starters include the Angus Beef Tartare with kipfler potato and shallot cream, King Prawns with Escargot XO sauce and steamed buns, Pork & Duck Terrine with apricot jam, seeded mustard and baguette and the tasty Market Fish Tartare with caper leaves and lemon oil for that perfect zesty bite.
At the heart of the restaurant sits a five-metre, custom-made Josper Basque grill, a centrepiece of the open kitchen that brings charcoal flavour to many of the menu’s hero dishes. Executive Chef José Saulog has curated a menu that blends refined French technique with Australian produce.
Highlights include the super-flavourful Barramundi with sauce grenobloise, Murray Cod with vichyssoise sauce and the delicious Swordfish with piperade and chardonnay vinegar. Handmade pastas, like the standout Spaghetti with scampi, and a large selection of steak frites smoked in the Basque grill, complete the experience.
To wash it all down, there’s a 400-strong wine list showcasing traditional winemakers. There’s also beer, cider and some truly outstanding signature cocktails to ensure you end your experience on a high.

Armorica is a luxurious French brasserie that brings a sense of occasion any night of the week. With its delicious food, friendly staff and amazing $25 Lunch Special, it may just be the best value bite in Surry Hills.
