Sheraton Grand Sydney Hyde Park Launches ‘High Cheese’ to Celebrate National Cheese Day in Partnership with Will Studd

To celebrate National Cheese Day, Sheraton Grand Sydney Hyde Park is introducing an indulgent new High Cheese experience, launching from 5 June 2026 at The Gallery.

Created in exclusive partnership with world-renowned cheese expert Will Studd, the offering reimagines the hotel’s iconic High Tea with a refined, cheese-led twist. Available every Friday from 11:00am to 4:00pm, High Cheese is designed as a relaxed end-of-week ritual – the perfect way to ease into the weekend.

The menu balances savoury and sweet, beginning with Whipped Galotyri Crostini and Fried Aphrodite Haloumi, before moving into a signature cheese course of Roquefort, Brillat Savarin and Manchego served with classic accompaniments.

A playful dessert selection follows, including a Basque Galotyri Cheesecake, Le Dauphin Double Crème Profiterole and Manchego & Orange Blossom Friand, before finishing with baked camembert, feta and chive scones, and raisin bread.

Priced at $75 per person, the experience features a curated cheese stand for two, inclusive of tea and coffee, with the option to elevate with a wine pairing for $20 for two, featuring a glass of Tyrrell’s Estate Grown Chardonnay or Shiraz.

With over 50 years of experience, Studd is globally recognised for his advocacy of traditional raw milk cheeses. A recipient of the Officier of the Ordre National du Mérite Agricole and Maître Fromager titles, he continues to champion exceptional cheese alongside his children through the Selected by Will Studd range and their 2023 book, The Best Things in Life Are Cheese.

Set within The Gallery, High Cheese offers a sophisticated new way to experience one of the city’s most iconic hotel traditions.
