International superstar Andrea Bocelli has just released a new CD/DVD compilation titled LOVE IN PORTOFINO. This brand new CD/DVD highlights Bocelli’s breathtaking performance in Portofino, Italy in August 2012 and includes the already quintessential songs from the legendary tenor’s last studio recording Passione. Playing to an intimate crowd at sunset, Bocelli sings some of the most famous love songs in the world accompanied by 16-time Grammy Award winner David Foster and a 40-piece orchestra. Bocelli delivers a performance of a lifetime in this unmissable feast of emotion, gorgeous settings and unforgettable songs.
The CD/DVD compilation features some of Bocelli’s best known Italian and International songs including breathtaking performances of “Anema e Core,” and “Love in Portofino,” as well as “Il nostro incontro” featuring trumpeter Chris Botti (with music composed by Ennio and Andrea Morricone); “Corcovado” and “Qualche stupido ‘Ti amo,” the Italian version of “Somethin’ Stupid,” in an exclusive duet with Veronica Berti. The compilation also highlights songs featured on Bocelli’s most recent studio album, Passione, including “Love Me Tender,” “Champagne,” “Roma nun fa la stupida stasera,” “Perfidia,” as well as his stunning duet with Jennifer Lopez on “Quizás, Quizás, Quizás.”
