Beat The Heat With Endeavour Brewing Co

Beat The Heat With Endeavour Brewing Co

With warmer weather already descending on many parts of the country, Aussies are bracing themselves for one hot summer. Endeavour Brewing Co. announced this week they have a zesty new way to beat the heat, with the release of their Citrus Pale Ale; a zesty fusion of their signature pale ale, tangerine and blood orange.

In keeping with Endeavour’s philosophy of unearthing the best that Mother Nature has to offer, Endeavour Brewing Co. experimented with six different citrus including lemon, lime and grapefruit, before settling on a mouth-watering combination of tangerine and blood orange.

Founder Ben Kooyman says, “The result is an incredibly sessionable beer, that has a little blood orange sweetness, that’s wonderfully balanced by the tangerine bitterness. The citrus tones work in harmony with our pale ale, and we think our discerning customers will enjoy the unique flavour combination.”

It’s also the first time the company has released one of its beers in a can, and is delighted that consumers now have a convenient way to quench their thirst this summer. “It’s quick to cool in an esky, and it stays fresher for longer, so it’s the perfect lighter beer to take to picnics, BBQs and other outdoor occasions. We’re really proud to introduce Australia to our latest flavoursome creation, and can’t wait to see the cans out and about this summer,” says Kooyman.

Ever-innovative and pushing the boundaries, the award-winning company has already proven itself to go about things a little differently, recently becoming the first brewing company to launch an equity crowdfunding campaign. Endeavour’s Citrus Pale Ale 4.5% comes in a striking 375ml can, as well as a convenient six pack, perfect for sharing with friends or taking along to summer parties.

Citrus Pale Ale Tasting Notes – Tangerine and blood orange fruit character leap out of the glass on the first smell of this beer. This is then followed by the upfront flavour of the blood orange that has a slight sweetness to it, before the bitterness of the tangerine starts coming through with the Galaxy and Ella hops on the mid palate, creating a fruity flavour overall. The medium crystal and Munich malts also help with some sweetness and malt body to help carry the citrus flavours over the palate, with just some bitterness from the hops and tangerine bringing up the back of the taste.

Endeavour Citrus Pale Ale is $26.00 per six pack and available at BWS, Dan Murphy’s and independent liquor outlets.
