A newly revitalised beach-side mix of local flavour, relaxed quality dining and inviting hotel service, Eventhouse Cronulla brings a refreshing boutique offering to one of Sydney’s longest stretches of pristine white sand, Cronulla Beach.
Having launched in February 2017, we recently ventured out to the Sutherland Shire for an overnight stay at this luxurious hotel. Located a stone’s throw away from Cronulla Beach, it’s the perfect spot for locals looking for a weekend getaway or those flying in wanting to stay near one of Sydney’s most beautiful beaches.
Cronulla Beach is only 40 minutes south of Sydney’s CBD, 20km to both International and Domestic Airports, and is the only Sydney beach directly accessible via train. Laid-back through the week with a bustling beach vibe over the weekend, Cronulla blends its rich heritage and surfing focus with a lively cafe culture and shopping district to offer a quintessential beach-side suburb with all the modern comforts.
The hotel is located right in the heart of all this activity and just across the road from the famous Northies pub. The hotel itself is deluxe with spacious guest rooms, designer dream beds, and private balconies with beach or bay views. We stayed in the Superior Ocean View room which offered absolutely breathtaking views of Cronulla Beach and had all the facilities you would expect and more: complimentary Wi-Fi, outdoor pool & spa overlooking the sea, 24 hour reception and room service, LCD flat screen TVs with Foxtel & Free-to-Air channels, quirky minibar, coffee pod machine & tea making facilities, individually controlled air conditioning, secure undercover parking, iron & ironing board, hairdryer, bathroom amenities, and more.
The hotel is also home to the Red Radish restaurant & bar – a relaxed, locally inspired dining experience accompanied by creative cocktails and alfresco dining areas. The chefs focus on local produce and deliver satisfying dishes with flavours influenced by the sea. They also offer a delicious full buffet breakfast which is just what you need after a big night out at some of the surrounding bars.

STANDARD ROOM: Perfect for a weekend escape, these spacious rooms are available with a Queen bed or King Zip/Twin bed configuration and private balcony. With a sofa bed in the living area, this room can easily accommodate an extra adult or two children.
OCEAN VIEW ROOM: Spacious and modern with views of the ocean and gorgeous Cronulla Beach, these rooms are available with a Queen bed or King Zip/Twin bed configuration.
ONE BEDROOM SUITE: Offer a separate bedroom with a Queen bed, spacious living area and private balcony with expansive views of Cronulla.
TWO BEDROOM SUITE: Offer two separate bedrooms with one Queen bed and one King Zip/Twin bed configuration, spacious living area and private balcony. This suite can accommodate up to five people.
Our experience at Eventhouse Cronulla was highly enjoyable. The stay was very relaxing, the room was spacious and clean, the hotel offered some great facilities, and the location was just superb.
