After five years in the making, Max Brenner has revamped its truly addictive chocolate menu! Looking to the palates and trends of different regions for inspiration, the Bald Man has crafted some outrageously tasty new treats including artistic desserts, delicious pastries and decadently rich milkshakes.
Daring innovation has been applied to even the simplest chocolate constructions while preserving the nostalgia and romantic aspects that resonate so strongly with Max Brenner. From the hip, boutique hospitality happenings in New York City to the booming café culture in Australia, Max Brenner has focused on combining items with differing textures and modern flavours (for example crispy, gooey meringue and cool, creamy ice-cream to make the Praline Meringue Puff Extravaganza).
During the development of the new menu, Max Brenner observed that Australian palates are constantly evolving and changing so it’s important to stay ahead of trends and bring new experiences to the nation’s chocolate lovers. With this in mind, they have made the humble milkshake new again with the decadence and nostalgia of the 80’s milkshake (chocolate milkshake topped with vanilla ice cream coasted in a crisp chocolate shell) incorporating the re-emergence of all things retro.
Max Brenner has recognised that Australians like to experiment with their desserts and tend to really embrace the whole sensory experience of eating desserts, so since opening its first Chocolate Bar in Sydney 14 years ago, innovation has remained an important factor in Max Brenner’s chocolate culture.
