It’s been a year of incredible achievement for Sydney based Tigerlily, who is fast becoming one of the nation’s most in demand young artists. She began her DJ career as a former contestant of the successful ‘Your Shot’ DJ competition, coming Runner-Up in 2011. Since then, she’s been gigging regularly & after being voted the #12 DJ in Australia, Tigerlily has now landed a weekly radio spot with Angus O’Loughlin on ‘The Bump’ which airs on the Southern Cross Austereo Network nationally. Her schedule sees her touring the country’s biggest and best venues and her debut single with Kyro & Bomber ‘Look At The Lights‘ was released via onelove Recordings recently as well as Tigerlily’s latest mixed CD ‘Digital Love / July 2013’.
But just when things were looking, as good as it gets, for this young performer Tigerlily was invited to take on Asia to support one of the world’s biggest DJs with a string of dates in October. The Pacha resident faced the biggest crowds of her career at mega venues in: Seoul, Manila and Kuala Lumpur – warming up for none other than the legendary Tiësto, as part of his ‘Club Life’ tour. Tigerlily then took her talents across the Tasman for a string of dates in New Zealand including an all ages event for Pepsi in Auckland in September.
Now comes Tigerlily’s first solo release – ‘Zombie.’ Spending a lot of her downtime in the studio, Tigerlily has crafted the monster ‘ZOMBIE’ to wreak havoc on any dancefloor after dark! Off the back of their worldwide club smash ‘Gypsy,’ Melbourne bounce scene leaders SCNDL deliver a massive remix, bringing all manner of electro evil to the pack, whilst A-Tonez delivers a ripe piece of DnB to glide you safely trough the night!
Zombie is out now through Onelove Recordings.
