Margherita & Co is Sydney’s newest Italian dining destination.
Located at the Horden Arcade inside the revitalised George Street World Square complex, Margherita & Co focuses on takeaway and relaxed dining in its sparkling new restaurant.
The menu is filled with quality Italian food – perfect for both intimate and shared dining. Antipasto dishes include Semolino Dusted Calamari flashed fried with roasted garlic aioli and the Fritte Di Zucchine with whitebait, red peppers, mint and dragoncello. The pizza favourite list features the Pepperoni Pizza with olives, tomato, mozzarella & rocket and the Pesce Pizza with prawn, calamari, cherry tomatoes, béchamel, gremolata, mozzarella & chilli flakes.
The list of salads is just as inviting with gems such as Chicken & Chickpea, Cauliflower & Pancetta, and the delectable Prawn & Pumpkin which we sampled on our recent visit. This gluten free dish was showered with ricotta, quinoa, rosemary, white balsamic, and honey dressing and was as delicious as it was filling.
The range of pasta dishes are equally as satisfying and include the signature Classic Spaghetti Carbonara, Penne Napoletana, Potato Gnocchi, Lasagne, and the lip-smacking Spaghetti Bolognese which we also couldn’t resist giving a try. With beef ragu and tomato parmesan, this classic Italian dish was absolutely mouth-watering.
If that isn’t enough, the menu is also complemented with a selection of gourmet gelato and traditional Italian sweet treats. And we can confirm, it’s finger-licking good! Highly recommended!
