Batch & Co is the brainchild of award-winning bartender, Swedish-born Melbourne-based Thomas Kiltorp, who was inspired by a phrase he heard over and over across the bar, “I wish I could make cocktails like this at home without the hassle.”
Thomas, a former winner of The Age Good Food Guide Bartender of the Year, and the man behind of some of the most exciting offerings on Melbourne’s cocktail scene including Richmond’s iconic The Collection Bar, The Red Hummingbird, nominated for Australia’s Best New Bar, and The Emerald Peacock, not to mention Melbourne’s first Nordic bar, du Nord, has been a bartender for more than 20 years.
The experience, knowledge and passion of more than two decades behind the stick are in every bottle of Batch & Co. Batch & Co launches just in time for summer, for cocktail parties, Christmas parties, pool parties and barbecues with two mixers: Guava, Strawberry, Vanilla & Shrub and Spiced Pear & Fig.
Thomas says: “A great cocktail has a balance of sweet and sour, mouthfeel and viscosity. Achieving that balance was what I focused on for Batch & Co; to get the hint of fig, to get the pear, to get the spices to come through in the after-palate, not full of sugar. It took me 18 months just to create the two launch flavours.”

Made for a Mule, a Spritz, and anything else you’d like to conjure. It can be mixed with vodka or rum or tequila or sparkling wine, or simply built and stirred over ice with tonic water. Guava, Strawberry, Vanilla & Shrub has been crafted using natural fruit concentrates as a base, the guava is sourced from Southern Italy to deliver a unique cocktail blend.
Spiced Pear & Fig
Golden in a Highball or a Spiced Daiquiri, or anywhere your imagination and taste take you. It can be mixed with vodka or rum or tequila or sparkling wine, or concoct a non-alcoholic Carafe, built and stirred over ice with apple cider and fresh lime juice. Spiced Pear & Fig has been crafted using natural fruit concentrates as a base, the pears sourced from Southern Italy, to deliver a unique cocktail blend.
