HOUSESOLUTION Takes Over Iconic Zeta Bar

Prepare for a new chapter in Sydney’s nightlife with the launch of HOUSESOLUTION, a fresh and innovative clubbing experience kicking off on October 12, 2024, at the iconic Zeta Bar. With a vision to deliver an alternative nightlife offering, HOUSESOLUTION is set to provide a unique soundscape for a perceptive crowd, blending house, melodic techno, deep house, and Afrocentric influences with genres like hip-hop, electronica, and disco classics.

Featuring an eclectic style of music, HOUSESOLUTION is set to push the boundaries of Sydney’s club scene, with DJs curating sets that take the crowd on a sonic journey. The music will move through genres, generating an atmosphere of creative freedom. Expect everything from afro-inspired rhythms to deep, melodic house, punctuated with electronica and timeless disco tracks. Every few weeks, HOUSESOLUTION will host international guest DJs, with Brian Tappert (USA), a renowned industry veteran, performing at the launch event.Targeting a sophisticated, stylish, and diverse audience, HOUSESOLUTION offers an alternative to Sydney’s increasingly youth-focused nightlife scene.

“This event bridges the gap faced by many thirty and forty-something clubbers who are unsatisfied with the current offerings. We are creating a space for like-minded individuals to gather and enjoy a high-quality, immersive experience,” says Antonio Zambarelli, one of the event’s co-founders. The masterminds behind HOUSESOLUTION— Antonio Zambarelli, Robert Ian Bonnick (RiB), and George Stavro—bring decades of experience to the table.

Zambarelli and RiB have shaped Sydney’s nightlife since the late ’90s, leading iconic venues like Zeta Bar (2006-13), TANK Nightclub (2001-05), HOUSESOLUTION Warehouse Parties (2000) and HOME nightclub 1998-2000). Zambarelli says that RiB’s personal touch has been key to their success: “Over the years he has built rapport and personalized relationships resulting in over 10,000 numbers in his phone book alone.” Stavro, a 34-year veteran in audio engineering, is known for his expertise in large-scale dance music venue sound systems, ensuring every beat resonates perfectly.

Zeta Bar is no stranger to glamour, having hosted A-list celebrities like Kim Kardashian, Paris Hilton, and Snoop Dogg. After the city’s nightlife suffered due to lockout laws and COVID lockdowns, Zeta Bar is making a grand comeback. “Zeta Bar combines nostalgic elegance with daring, modern entertainment. It’s the perfect venue for the return of HOUSESOLUTION,” says Grant Collins, international mixologist, who has revamped the bar’s cocktail menu with creative drinks like the Salary Man featuring vodka and yuzu, and the Fiesta Espresso a tequila twist on the classic espresso martini.

With plans to host six-to-eight-hour DJ sets that offer a journey through diverse musical styles, HOUSESOLUTION aims to redefine the clubbing experience. This new weekly event will bring in top international DJs every few weeks, keeping the energy fresh and exciting. The opening night on October 12 kicks off at 9pm until late, with an entry fee of $30.
