Bickford’s, the iconic family-owned Australian household brand, is celebrating its 150th anniversary this year, and to mark the occasion they’ve launched six new celebration flavours that are equally as nostalgic as they are delicious.
From Lemon Barley Cordial evoking memories of Grandma’s pantry, the lime cordial that transformed into refreshing icy poles to combat the heat of Aussie summers, and the iconic Lemon Lime & Bitters that rivals any bartender’s creation; for most Australians, a love of Bickford’s was imparted at a young age. The taste of your childhood, a staple of summer; it’s hard to imagine hot days without cold cordial in the backyard.
As part of Bickford’s anniversary, a line-up of six new celebration flavours have launched, as well as the revival of a beloved fan-favorite flavour. Available nationally, the limited edition celebration flavours include Lime Spider, Strawberry Lime Crush, Raspberry Ripple, Mango Coconut Splash, Pink Lemonade and Creamy Soda. Crafted using the finest quality ingredients, they blend a touch of nostalgia with a contemporary Bickford’s twist.

Lime Spider: Conjuring memories of the classic ice cream soda treat, Bickford’s have splashed cool green fruity lime with luxuriously fragrant vanilla. Dive into a delicious tall cold glass of nostalgia and fizz it up with soda or crushed ice and a generous citrus twist. Backyard sun lounge, here you come! Lime Spider is exclusive to Woolworths, on shelves from January 2024.
Strawberry Lime Crush: If you’ve ever been a fan of traditional red berry cordial (who hasn’t?) – you’ll love this combo. Fragrant strawberry meets pure refreshment with a mouth-watering Bickford’s lime twist. Serve in a jug with fruit-filled ice cubes on a golden afternoon. Strawberry Lime Crush is exclusive to Woolworths, on shelves from January 2024.
Raspberry Ripple: Taking the sensation of tangy raspberry swirled through creamy vanilla ice cream, reimagined it as a drink and bottled it! An irresistible double scoop of delectable flavour – mix up a jug for afternoon tea and serve with a slice of sponge cake. You’ll be tickled pink. Raspberry Ripple is exclusive to Coles, on shelves in South Australia from January 2024 and nationally from June 2024.
Mango Coconut Splash: Mangoes are always in season when you have this delicious cordial on hand. Partnered with the creamy flavour of a fresh-cracked coconut, you’ll just about feel the tropical beach sand between your toes. Break out the cocktail umbrellas! Mango Coconut Splash is exclusive to Coles, on shelves in South Australia from January 2024 and nationally from June 2024.
Pink Lemonade: Who could say no to a drink named Pink Lemonade? Capturing a backyard lemon tree harvest and with a touch of pure magic. Fizz it up with soda for added delight. Sweet memories are waiting to be made. Pink Lemonade is exclusive to Independent Supermarkets from January 2024.
Creamy Soda: Bickford’s secret vanilla-laden recipe makes this Creamy Soda peculiarly delicious. For the ultimate ice cream soda treat, mix it generously with soda water in a large glass and top with a scoop of your favourite ice cream (try Neapolitan for retro vibes). As refreshing as a dash under the sprinkler on a hot summer day. Creamy Soda is exclusive to Independent Supermarkets from January 2024.
